The Sims 4 Announces Content in the Style of "Mean Girls" and "Clueless" Movies, While Fans Call for the Game to Be Fixed First
Developers remembered old movies.
The creators of The Sims 4 recently started teasing new content. Maxis collaborated with Paramount Pictures – two themed packs are being developed for the game based on two movies: Mean Girls and Clueless.
Players will be able to add mini-skirts, a top, sportswear, and other accessories to their collections. This will allow The Sims 4 characters to try on looks in the style of the movie characters. The packs will also include several themed building elements.
Judging by the comments, the announcement did not please all The Sims 4 fans. Some, like Rileyuchiha770, are urging Maxis to fix the game first:
No way, not until you fix your game. It's practically unplayable on console — a critical error occurs and the game constantly freezes when trying to select something in the menu, leaving no choice but to force close The Sims 4. A fix should have been released for this a long time ago, considering how critical this issue is. [...] Werewolves are glitching and this bug, which, according to complaints, has existed for over a year. Fix your game — it's riddled with bugs.
The release of the Mean Girls and Clueless Kits for The Sims 4 is expected on August 27, 2026. Both kits will cost $4 each.
Earlier, The Sims 4 developers published a teaser of free content online — there will be decor, clothes, and other new items.
