Xbox will be one of the major participants at Gamescom 2026. In celebration of the brand's 25th anniversary, fans can expect more than just new game announcements.
According to insider billbil-kun, on August 26, the official opening day of the exhibition, Xbox will unveil and open pre-orders for the previously announced Xbox Wireless Controller Special Edition X25. Its design harks back to the original Xbox.
Sales of the controller will begin on October 20, 2026. The recommended price is $79.99 / €79.99.
Xbox is also expected to unveil an anniversary edition of the console. When pre-orders for it will open is currently unknown.
