15 Minutes of Black Myth: Zhong Kui Gameplay - What the Wukong Sequel Looks Like

Game Science has released a 15-minute Black Myth: Zhong Kui gameplay video featuring a new hero, combat, and a story snippet. The release is scheduled for 2028.

Game Science has delivered a big surprise to fans. The sequel to the 2024 Chinese hit Black Myth: Zhong Kui has received a full 15-minute gameplay demonstration.

The video showcased a new hero, battles, and a fragment of the story, accompanied by a mysterious poem:

With blood on my blade, I paint a new crimson hue on my face.

With blood on my blade, I paint a new crimson hue on my face. An old friend pays a visit while the dream lasts. Old faces and past deeds have vanished from my sight, But I still remember each of them – day and night. Bound by love, they grow old; the righteous path lies far away. Today's grace or grievance does not define the final song. Who said the Underworld is far? All the better – I will walk through it again.

The release of Black Myth: Zhong Kui is still far off – the game will only be released in 2028. The developers warn that much can change during this time, including the game's format: the shown gameplay was recorded in a 21:9 aspect ratio. However, the project already looks like another must-have release for fans of atmospheric soulslikes.
