"Colosseum: The Grand Spectacle" Pre-Orders Coming Soon to Russia - A Board Game Simulating Ancient Roman Impresarios

Soon, it will be possible to pre-order the Russian version of the board game "Colosseum: The Grand Spectacle." With it, you can transform into an ancient Roman event manager, gain experience working with gladiators and lions, and organize grand events for the emperor and the people of Rome.

GaGa Games publishing house announced that its next pre-order will be the board game Colosseum: The Grand Spectacle. This is a deluxe re-release of the classic Colosseum from 2007 by an unusual duo of authors – Wolfgang Kramer and Markus Lübke.

The game features illustrations by The Mico and O'Toole, updated components, all old content, as well as new additions and modules – from solo and two-player modes to a six-player expansion.

In this project, participants will become ancient Roman impresarios – organizers of gladiatorial fights and other events held in the Colosseum. They will have to improve their performances in every way, hire artists, negotiate with other players, and more.

The game is based on auctions, bidding, negotiations, and resource management. Participants will constantly have to decide what is more important: invest in arena development, get the right performer, or take a risk and stage a show that all of Rome will remember.

The winner here is not the one who methodically accumulates points throughout the game, but the one who can truly give bread and circuses to the demanding spectators. Therefore, it will be necessary to fight not only with rivals but also with oneself, staging increasingly impressive events each time.
