Fan-made Kingdom Come: Deliverance appeared - modders transformed Arma 3 into a medieval action game and attracted the attention of developers

The military shooter-simulator Arma 3 supports user modifications. Not all enthusiasts add "military" content; sometimes there are specific projects.

This summer, a modification called "Arma Domini - 1400AD" was introduced. This conversion mod transports the action of Arma 3 to the 15th century — into a medieval setting:

The mod includes thematically appropriate weapons (melee and ranged), many armor variants, new objects, items, buildings, a map, missions, modules, and its own music. We strive for an authentic atmosphere, not historical accuracy. Various compromises had to be made for all of this to work in Arma 3.

Players are offered dozens of weapon types, hundreds of equipment items, various shields, as well as several missions to complete — all of them are designed for multiplayer mode, but they can also be played solo on a locally hosted server.

The Arma 3 team noticed the modders' project. The developers announced a live stream "Arma 3 Community Play Session Live Stream | Arma Domini - 1400AD," which will take place on the evening of August 21.

The "Arma Domini - 1400AD" modification is distributed through the "Steam Workshop" on the Arma 3 community page.
