Nintendo has officially announced new prices for the Nintendo Switch 2 in the UK and Ireland. The increase will take effect in September 2026 and will affect the console's base version.
In the UK, the price of Switch 2 will rise from £395.99 to £419.99. In Ireland, the cost will increase from €469.99 to €499.99.
This is another stage of the global price increase for the console. In the US, the recommended price will increase from $449.99 to $499.99, and in most European markets – from $469.99 to $499.99.
Nintendo has already raised prices for the original Switch. The company attributes the changes to broader economic issues and rising production costs.
The new prices will appear in the Nintendo Store UK and Ireland in September. No further increases have been announced yet.
