Recently, various gameplay footage of Grand Theft Auto VI began to appear online. Judging by the presented video, the hacker may have obtained not just working recordings, but a playable build. Rumor has it that this is not a console version, but a PC build of the game.
Other hackers decided to take advantage of this. Users noticed that against the backdrop of the leaks, another wave of distribution of the "leaked PC version" of Grand Theft Auto VI began on various resources. This is an attempt to attract players who want to dive into the new Rockstar Games project as soon as possible.
However, those downloading GTA VI "without SMS and registration" may get viruses and miners instead of a playable build - they will have to clean the system, not play.
The official release of Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for November 19 this year on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. Rockstar Games and Take-Two have not yet announced the release date or release window for the PC version of the game.
Meanwhile, the market reacted to the leak with a drop - the value of Take-Two securities significantly decreased.
