Onimusha: Way of the Sword is approaching its release with an excellent result. Capcom announced that the upcoming action game has surpassed 2 million additions to wishlists across all platforms.

The game is designed for a single player and combines elements of action and adventure. The release is scheduled for September 4, 2026, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC.

Capcom emphasizes that reaching 2 million wishlists shortly before the premiere indicates high interest in the game. However, this result does not yet guarantee commercial success – sales will ultimately determine that.
