A strategy game about armies whose fighters players draw in a notebook has been released on Steam - it's free.

In August, developer Heftrand Games released the strategy game Kritzel Krieg on PC via Steam. It invites players to participate in a battle between two armies, unfolding on notebook pages.

Ink in Kritzel Krieg is power: the more pixels, the more health and damage, but also the higher the unit's cost. Players will have to build their operational base, unlock new fighter classes, and send their drawn armies into battle. Combat is available in a "1 on 1" online format, and you can also start a match against a bot.

The developer suggests that players draw their base and fighters themselves. Depending on the drawing style, characteristics and price will change:

Forget about pre-made units — in Kritzelkrieg, you hand-draw each warrior on a piece of paper. That's the point: your ink determines the characteristics. Every colored pixel matters. Draw a large one — and your unit will enter battle with an impressive health bar and serious damage. Be economical and draw a small one — the unit will be cheap but fragile.

The Kritzel Krieg page on Steam is available at the following link. The game can be added to your library for free. The developer has not yet released any add-ons for it.
