In 2019, Xbox commissioned the British agency Takeoff Studios to create 12 special consoles to celebrate the release of Sekiro. Some were used at Activision events, while others were given away in contests. Because of this, such devices rarely appear for sale.
Now, seller neoframe has listed one of the consoles for $11,999. The listing has been viewed by thousands of people, and 12 are tracking price changes.
"According to the marketing agency that created them, only 12 were produced," the seller wrote. According to him, the console has not been used and powers on to the initial setup screen.
However, the device has storage damage: the coating on four sword mounts has worn off, there are two scratches on the controller, and the sword hilt was previously repaired with hot glue. The seller is open to offers, although it is unknown if a buyer will be found for $12,000.
