The developer improved the single-player mode and has now started testing the multiplayer mode.

This summer saw the release of the long-awaited action game Killer Bean. The project was launched in "early access" and is being gradually developed.

In August, the developer introduced an update that included a multiplayer mode. It is currently in "beta," but already playable: servers will operate via the Steam P2P network.

Currently, two modes are available: "Free-for-All" and the classic Team Deathmatch. There are already ten diverse maps, and the developer plans to add more "soon."

Currently, there are 4 types of weapons and a basic set of cosmetics to choose from, and an update with a content unlock system for leveling up is expected in a few weeks.

Killer Bean - Launching June 8, 2026 on Steam

Players will be able to customize their server, and the developer promises to add more options soon. The camera will initially only work in first-person mode, with a third-person view becoming available later.

Killer Bean is still in Steam Early Access. The developer expects it to remain in this status for approximately two years. The action game about a coffee bean received mixed reviews at launch, but over time its rating improved, and it now has "mostly positive" reviews.
