According to Alinea Analytics analyst Rhys Elliott, S-Game's game has already sold approximately 300,000 copies on Steam. According to his data, the revenue amounted to $14.5 million. Earlier, the developers stated that pre-orders "far exceeded expectations."

The number of additions to wishlists, it is claimed, exceeded 1.6 million. A significant increase occurred after the trailer at The Game Awards. However, it is unknown how much the recent extended presentation and the release of State of Play affected this figure.

Consultant Daniel Camilo noted that the hype around the game is "nowhere near" that of Black Myth: Wukong, but it is "significantly higher than what we saw before the launch of Wuchang." In China, local companies have already entered into partnership and licensing agreements with Phantom Blade Zero.

Phantom Blade Zero will be released on October 29, 2026, on PS5 and PC. The story will take about 30–40 hours. The game will have three difficulty levels, including the unlockable 66 Days mode.
