The video demonstrating the game went viral on social media, garnering over 48 million views in a few days. This is not a "joke"; in communication with users, NasNakarus stated that he would soon open a Steam page for this simulator.
He stated that his goal is to "push the boundaries for meditative, repetitive games."
The digital haystack contains 5 million "pieces," and the player must find one small needle in it. This kind of meditative entertainment is likely suitable not only for single-player but also for cooperative play.
As practice shows, many players enjoy such unconventional simulators. Recently, a fishing game was released on PC via Steam. The developers suggested using not only traditional fishing rods but also firearms and explosives — as a result, they attracted huge attention and sold a million copies in a few days.
