Games Workshop announced what will be available for pre-order on August 29, 2026. Fans of Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer: The Horus Heresy tabletop games will be able to purchase the "Custodes Support Battle Group" set.
It includes four "Corvus" pattern grav-bikes, a "Pallas" grav-attack, and a "Telemon" heavy dreadnought. You can also buy the "Burning of Prospero: Valdor's Judgment" softcover tactical journal. Inside: background information on the assault on Tizca and the fierce defense of the Thousand Sons, as well as new scenarios, game rules, additional units, and a brand new army list for the Daemons of Tzeentch.
A set of dice dedicated to the Custodes will be available. This includes 19 D6 dice (with the Legio Custodes logo instead of a six) and one scatter die. For the Warhammer: The Old World tabletop game, five new sets designed for "Battle March" will be introduced – a format for quick battles with armies of 400–750 points.
"Empire of Men": a commander with a two-handed weapon, 20 infantrymen, 10 flagellants, 10 crossbowmen or musketeers, 10 archers, 5 riders who can be assembled as pistoliers. "Herds of Beastmen": a chieftain, a shaman, 10 Ungors, 10 Bestigors, 20 Gors, 10 Chaos Hounds.
"Orc & Goblin Tribes": an Orc Boss on a Boar, a Goblin Shaman, an Orc Standard Bearer, 15 Orc Boyz, 5 Goblin Wolf Riders, 5 Orc Boar Boyz, an Orc Chariot pulled by two boars. "High Elf Kingdoms": a High Elf Sea Guard Lord, 10 Lothern Sea Guard warriors, 5 Shadow Warriors (can be assembled as Sisters of Avelorn), 5 Ellyrian Reavers, a Lothern Skycutter, a Tiranoc Chariot.
"Wood Elf Kingdoms": Araloth the Bold – a Wood Lord of Talsyn, 10 Eternal Guard, 5 Sisters of the Thorn, 4 Wild Riders, 8 Glade Guard. Among other things, you can buy Guy Haley's book "Raldoron: Revenant."
It will be available in a standard hardcover, and a special edition signed by the author will also be available, featuring red foil on the cover and spine, a beautiful fabric ribbon bookmark, and many other additional details. The aforementioned items will appear in stores on September 12, 2026.
