According to insider NateTheHate, recent backstage discussions indicate that Microsoft does not plan to unveil new projects in Cologne. Instead, the company will focus on presenting and promoting previously announced games.
This changes the insider's previous predictions: until recently, he expected, in particular, the premiere of a new installment in the Ori series. Now, everything indicates that unannounced projects will remain behind closed doors, and their official presentation will take place at other industry events.
This approach seems logical given Microsoft's upcoming release calendar. The company already has plenty to showcase: Fable and Gears of War: E-Day need updated release dates, extensive gameplay demonstrations, and full marketing support.
