Trine 6: Together in Time will not be released on September 17, 2026. The developers have postponed the release to March 4, 2027, to improve the game based on player feedback.
Recent closed testing revealed several areas requiring refinement. In particular, Frozenbyte plans to completely overhaul the puzzle mechanics, improve the combat system, camera behavior, tutorial, and online multiplayer.
We will spend the additional time to add a completely new way to solve puzzles throughout the game, give our heroes more opportunities to prove themselves, and also improve the combat system, camera behavior, tutorial, and online multiplayer systems. We know this means a longer wait, but we are confident that the extra time will allow us to incorporate the feedback we've heard and ultimately create the best adventure for long-time fans, newcomers, and everyone in between.
Trine 6 will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
