The main difference from the standard ROG Xbox Ally X will be a 7.4-inch OLED screen with 1080p resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, VRR, and HDR. The panel's peak brightness reaches 1400 nits.
The device will feature an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor, 24 GB of RAM, a 1 TB SSD, and an 80 Wh battery. FreeSync Premium Pro and VRR support are also announced. The ROG Xbox Ally X20 will run on Windows 11 with Xbox mode.
The console is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the ROG brand and will feature a translucent case with gold elements. Initially, ASUS showed it together with AR glasses, but now it is confirmed that only the portable device can be purchased.
Sales of the ROG Xbox Ally X20 will start on October 15, 2026. For comparison, the standard ROG Xbox Ally X costs $999.99 in the US.
