Honkai Star Rail 4.5 Added Dialogue Acceleration and Changed Russian Localization. miHoYo Talked About Translation Improvement
Developers are paying attention to translation into different languages. Russian localization continues to be refined.
At the end of August, the creators of Honkai Star Rail presented a major update 4.5, titled "To Roll the Stars in Astropolis". miHoYo (HoYoverse) published a list of changes and talked about new features and improvements.
The developers reported that corrections and improvements to the Russian text have been implemented. They clarified that the changes made will not affect gameplay:
Some texts of the game modes "Virtual Universe" and "Currency Wars", texts of story dialogues, plot summaries, enhancement descriptions, enemy descriptions, enemy skill descriptions, tutorial texts, messages, item descriptions and their histories, status descriptions, system notifications, and other text descriptions have been refined and improved.
Honkai Star Rail 4.5 added two new versions of characters already familiar to players — Robin and Aventurine.
- Robin: Clear Sky (5-star rarity, Path of Remembrance, Wind damage type) — a support character who summons the memory spirit Clear Sky Musician. She advances allies' actions and restores energy, and also provides the team with buffs, such as defense ignore.
- Aventurine: Surf (5-star rarity, Path of Joy, Quantum damage type) — positioned as a damage-dealing character. He interacts with team attacks and frequently uses the Joy skill. Developers noted that team attacks will give him "Ardor" and "Humor". Aventurine will be able to additionally use the Joy skill and enhance the next Joy skill in the MiG Ahi. The enhanced Joy skill consumes "Ardor" and deals more damage.
The game also introduced a dialogue acceleration feature. During the story progression, players can activate a button in the upper right corner of the dialogue screen to speed up the playback of text, voice lines, and other content in story scenes (excluding story cutscenes, in-combat scenes, etc.).
