OO Cat studio released Shadow Dungeon (or "Podzemelye Teney" in Russian localization) on PC via Steam at the end of August. The new title is positioned as a dark fantasy action RPG.
The project's creators stated that their "retro visual style" was inspired by classic role-playing games from the late 1990s. In Shadow Dungeon, players are invited to create a character, with four classes to choose from: paladin; ranger; a mage who controls the elements; and a necromancer.
The developers of Shadow Dungeon have prepared over a hundred levels for the main campaign – this is approximately 30-50 hours of gameplay. They also noted that their game has a very, very large number of items:
Over 100,000,000 equipment items are available in the game. Carefully crafted legendary and mythical items make up more than half of all loot. By combining weapons and skills, you can create your own hybrid builds and find the perfect playstyle.
They clarified that these 100 million are "semi-randomly generated based on 3,200 base templates."
