One of the main features was RTX Mega Geometry technology, created for GeForce RTX graphics cards. It allows for significantly more detailed geometry in ray-traced scenes. Gears of War: E-Day will be one of the first major games to support this solution.
The PC version will also receive DLSS 4.5 support, which should improve image quality and smoothness. The developers specifically noted improved control responsiveness.
Gears of War: E-Day is a prequel to the series, set on the day of the first Locust invasion. The game will be released on October 6, 2026, on Xbox Series X|S and PC. From day one, the PC version will also be available on GeForce NOW.
