The main new feature is the “Special Events” mode for competitive players. The developers have prepared a set of challenges with specific cars and tracks, and players' results will be included in global online rankings.
Multiplayer races now feature mandatory pit stops. Players will have to monitor tire and fuel consumption to achieve the best results.
Three cars have been added to the garage: Audi R8 V10 Performance Quattro, the racing Audi R8 LMS GT2, and the iconic Mazda RX-7 FD Spirit R (Type A).
KUNOS Simulazioni also added a new slick tire model for GT, improved force feedback from the steering wheel or other controller, and handling. The developers promise more realistic physics and predictable car behavior on the track.
The update also includes bug fixes and optimizations. Assetto Corsa EVO remains in early access on PC.
