Manor Lords Receives Major Update with New Map, Gameplay Mechanics, and Interface

News 0

In late August, studio Slavic Magic and publisher Hooded Horse announced the release of a major update for the medieval city-building strategy game Manor Lords. The game added content and mechanics that players had previously been able to try out during the update's beta testing.

The developers said they updated the game interface, added the Wide Valley map, improved artificial intelligence, and also added several "seasonal" mechanics.

Some other new features and improvements:

  • Apiaries are now seasonal: harvests accumulate during spring/summer and are collected in autumn.
  • Introduced "seasonal products": for example, sheep can only be shorn once a year – in summer. Cows can be milked monthly, but not in winter.
  • Pasture animals will reproduce depending on the season and herd size.
  • Added filters for trading posts that allow controlling which types of goods they store and import.
  • Players can now make cheese: salt and milk are used for this.
  • Added a new field crop, oats, which can be processed into animal feed.
  • You can now brew mead, as well as cider from apples.
