The modder continues to make CDPR's graphics even better.

The modder known in The Witcher community as HalkHogan recently made headlines again. He was working on a new version of the graphical modification "The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project NextGen Edition" and hadn't shared any news for a long time. As it turned out, he is now collaborating with CD Projekt RED and working on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt remaster.

HalkHogan published an address to the community:

Hello, my fellow Witchers! It's been a long time since you heard from me, and I want to clarify and confirm that I am collaborating with CDPR to work on The Witcher 3 remaster: my modification will be officially available in the game on September 29 (on PC and consoles) – HD Reworked Project will no longer be needed.

HalkHogan explained that almost all characters, monsters, animals, vegetation, armor and equipment for Geralt and Roach, as well as a significant part of the environment, have been reworked: "and I put a lot of effort into ensuring the highest quality. :)".

The release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt remaster is scheduled for September 29, 2026. The story expansion Songs of the Past is also in development.
