Nikita Buyanov supported GTA VI authors and faced criticism - he was urged to focus on Escape from Tarkov

News 1

In August, a hacker (or group) Cyberleek actively published Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay footage, revealing various elements of the game. Rockstar Games remained silent for a long time, and recently published an official statement about the situation and reminded that an official presentation of the game will take place soon.

Battlestate Games boss Nikita Buyanov noticed the post and decided to support his industry colleagues:

I'm on the side of the GTA developers! Create your masterpiece — no one will stop you! That's how history is made.

Some players took the opportunity to criticize Buyanov.

  • edgy_sand: "I doubt Nikita even understood the situation with the leaks, but it's still not surprising that one greedy developer supports others — like attracts like."
  • macro2k: "Your game is still full of bugs that return after patch releases."
  • Wendstrawlemo: "Well, of course... a company that treats its loyal fans like that supports such a ******** company as Rockstar."
  • SWONDAWG: "The ability to lock your trailers behind paid access on Netflix is the level of greed you aspire to. Of course, you support that."
  • @onlinebaas: "Did you copy their pricing model?"
  • JohnDoe1492057: "Shock. A mediocre developer fawning over a larger studio. I hope you get a pat on the head for this. Fix your ****** game first."
