Gothic 1 Remake fixed bosses and critical bugs - update 1.0.5 released

News

The developers continue to gradually eliminate technical issues.

At the end of August, Alkimia Interactive and THQ Nordic released update 1.0.5 for Gothic 1 Remake. This is a purely technical patch: it does not add new content to the game, but is designed to fix several technical problems that caused crashes.

In addition, this patch also fixes various bugs that could prevent the game from being completed. For example, in some situations, the hero could lose the ability to interact with the desired character or item. Boss-related errors have also been fixed — battles with them should now proceed correctly.

Some changes and improvements:

  • Fixed a bug where skeleton mages could not attack, summon skeletons, or teleport.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred after pickpocketing prison guards or Dexter.
  • Fixed sound effects during Cor Kalom's finishing move.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash when teleporting from the Free Mine to Xardas's tower.
  • Various quest bug fixes.
