GTA VI will not feature a full first-person view

GTA VI will not feature a full first-person mode, which allowed players to complete all of GTA V and GTA Online from the hero's perspective.

This information was revealed by blogger Davy Jones after a visit to Rockstar North. According to him, Rob Nelson, Head of Development and Co-President of the studio, explained the team's approach to the camera: GTA VI was originally designed as a third-person game, and there will be no separate first-person mode for the entire campaign.

However, the first-person view will not disappear completely. Players will be able to use it when aiming certain weapons, but it will not be possible to switch the entire game to first-person view and freely explore Leonida. During the major GTA VI presentation, Rockstar also never showed full gameplay from such a perspective.

In GTA V, the first-person view appeared as one of the main features of subsequent versions and was later used in GTA Online. Rockstar is focusing on a third-person view so that players can better see the complex animations of Jason and Lucia and the numerous details of what is happening.
