It hasn't happened in 22 years: Star Wars: Zero Company received the highest media ratings

Star Wars Zero Company received 86% on Metacritic and became the highest-rated major Star Wars game in 22 years.

Electronic Arts can celebrate success: Star Wars Zero Company received excellent reviews and became one of the highest-rated major releases of 2026. Currently, the game has 86% on Metacritic based on 41 PC version reviews. This is higher than Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (85%), LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga (82%), Star Wars: Squadrons (79%), and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (79%). Star Wars Outlaws received 75%.

To find a major game in the universe with the same result, you have to go back to 2004 – to Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II – The Sith Lords. The first Knights of the Old Republic from 2003 scored even higher – 94%.

Between them is also Angry Birds Star Wars with 86%, but this is a mobile game with far fewer reviews. Therefore, among major projects, Zero Company showed the best result in 22 years.

At the same time, Bit Reactor chose an unusual genre for the series: Star Wars Zero Company is a turn-based strategy game set at the end of the Clone Wars. Sales are unlikely to be record-breaking, although initial ratings show that the developers have successfully unlocked the universe's potential.
