Arc Raiders developers showed a new gadget, and players criticized them for their priorities

Many players are interested in new content, not screenshots and selfies.

Embark Studios recently published a teaser for a new gadget for Arc Raiders. The gameplay trailer received mixed reviews.

Arc Raiders plans to add a “Camera Gadget” – a “camera” for creating stylish screenshots. The developers plan to add the gadget in October this year.

According to dissatisfied users, the developers should pay attention to other problems of the game – cheaters and a small amount of content:

• AlarraG: “First you need to solve the problem with cheating, and then definitely add more maps to make stream sniping more difficult […]”.
• Chris212H: “They make a selfie tool, but don't fix the item duplication bug and don't fight cheaters.”
• ChangingLate: “Now I can record my FPS dropping to 30 on PS5 Pro during a firefight. If you had time to do that, then, it turns out, in October there will be 120 FPS on the console?”.
• Rengo_J: “Wow, so glad the new idea you came up with isn't a weapon or an enemy type or a location. A f****** camera. This game deserves oblivion.”
• HungWhiteMale: “Sucks. Need more maps for PvP. Nobody cares about Arc. The fact that you listened to the complaints of ******* about PvP is what ruined your game. The whole point of this f****** game is PvP. After all, that's what you need to go through Arc for: to craft weapons to kill players.”

Some players are generally happy with such a tool, but are not thrilled with the prospect of losing this camera if they die during a raid.

Currently, the creators of Arc Raiders are preparing a major Frozen Trail update for October: players can expect a new map, enemies, and an update to the progression system.
