The Game Boy Advance portable console was released back in 2001, but even 25 years later, it still has many devoted fans. This device has only one front-facing mono speaker. At times, it operates at its limits, and it's often covered by the user's thumb.
Such an obstruction slightly degrades sound quality, and some would surely wish the speaker could deliver a bit more power. Well, now it's possible thanks to the Japanese manufacturer Himitsunova, which has long sold modified retro consoles and accessories. Their latest novelty is an external stereo speaker for the Game Boy Advance.
It can already be purchased for 3800 Japanese Yen (about 2048 rubles). It adds two larger front-facing speakers to the GBA and uses the link cable port to quickly and securely attach to the console.

To start using it, simply connect the speaker's terminal to the EXT port at the top of the console and insert the L-shaped plug into the headphone jack. No console disassembly, installation work, battery replacement, or charging is required, and the volume can be adjusted using the volume wheel on the GBA itself.
