Will The Elder Scrolls VI be released on PlayStation? Microsoft teases again

Microsoft has not yet revealed the platforms for The Elder Scrolls 6, and franchise head Asha Sharma dodged a direct answer to the question of the game's exclusivity to Xbox.

In recent years, Microsoft has become less active in using exclusivity, releasing its games on competing platforms. At the same time, the company is not going to completely abandon projects available only in its own ecosystem. The Elder Scrolls 6 remains one of the main mysteries – the game's target platforms have not been officially confirmed.

At gamescom, Sharma was asked if the next installment in the Bethesda series would be an Xbox console exclusive. She replied that "every platform needs a certain form of unique experience and content." When asked directly about The Elder Scrolls VI, Sharma only said: "It's a beautiful game."

This answer leaves Microsoft with several options: the game may not be released on PlayStation, it may have timed exclusivity, or it may appear later on Sony consoles. There is no specific information about the platforms yet.
