At the "Grand Theft Auto VI: Extended Showcase" presentation, the Rockstar Games team showed not only the interiors of some buildings but also a large city. The internet decided to compare the current version of Vice City with the city that developers presented 24 years ago in GTA: Vice City.
It is obvious that over the years, the graphics, as well as the scale and detail of the locations, have significantly improved. The selection of frames presented on Kotaku gathered "similar" moments — it is not possible to accurately reproduce some scenes in GTA: Vice City, so often the frames are united only by theme.
During the presentation, you could see mansions, tall buildings, a trailer park, a motorcycle racing scene, as well as a nightclub and a full-fledged shooting range — in GTA VI, shooting is done from a third-person perspective.
The map of the new installment of the franchise will be much larger than in GTA: Vice City.
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19 this year on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. Nothing has been announced yet about the PC version's release window.
