In late August, the "Grand Theft Auto VI: Extended Showcase" presentation took place. Rockstar Games showed players various gameplay moments and snippets of the city. Some noticed interesting details and decided to compare what they saw with the real city of Miami.
A user under the nickname Synth Potato drew attention to a discovery by @prettyboycuh. He believes he managed to find Lucia and Jason's real house (or rather, apartment), which could be seen during the presentation.
This building was identified as "Belmar Condo" – it is located in Miami, Florida.
However, Grand Theft Auto VI fans will no longer be able to visit this place. Synth Potato explained that the building was demolished several years ago:
The building itself was demolished in 2022, but it looked exactly like it did in Grand Theft Auto VI, including the building across the street, which was also an almost exact replica.
Players are sure that this is not a coincidence and that Rockstar Games was inspired by this location. The game has been in development for many years, and therefore, the references might have preserved a building that no longer exists in real life.
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19 this year on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. Nothing has been announced yet regarding the PC version's release window.
