Gate Zero looks like an unusual mix of Assassin's Creed and science fiction

Gate Zero will be an unusual competitor to Assassin's Creed: players will have to travel between 2072 and the 1st century AD to change the past and save the future.

Gate Zero is an action-adventure game from the new studio Templar Media. The main character, Max, travels between the future and biblical versions of Judea and Galilee. His goal is to stop the UniFi corporation, which controls people's lives and the flow of information in the dystopian world it created.

The release is expected in spring 2027. A playable version of the project was shown at Gamescom. The new trailer demonstrates a dynamic combat system and Max's movements between eras.

The game is clearly not in the same league as Assassin's Creed, although similar gameplay and plot elements will inevitably lead to a comparison between the two projects.
