Trailer for Stranded Deep 2 Released - Survival Game About a Journey Down an Endless River

News 0

North Beach Games recently published a trailer for the project Stranded Deep 2. This is a survival game – the first part was released back in 2015 in early access.

This time, it's not an "island setting"; players will be offered to embark on a dangerous desert journey. The main character will find himself trapped, alone – no one will come to his aid. He will have to travel down the river and fight for his life:

An endless river cuts through a world full of life, dangers, and discoveries. The desert doesn't care if you survive or not. You must earn the right to be here. And you will. Every tool, every discovery, every step into uncharted lands – the result of your struggle for survival and an indicator of how far you've come. The deeper you explore the desert, the clearer you understand that survival is not the end.

The developers said that the river winds through valleys, dunes, and canyons, connecting vast empty spaces – with many manually created locations. Players will have to gather resources, craft tools, and build a floating home on the river. They will need to monitor the character's health, thirst, and hunger levels. Animals roam the world, "hunting and living according to the natural food chain." The player is part of this chain, but not at the top.
