Fable is ready for release. The creators named the game it's better not to mess with

The new Fable is ready for release and will be out in early 2027, with developers not afraid of competition from other major games, although they decided not to directly clash with GTA VI.

The postponement of the release date of the RPG from Playground Games is due to the release of GTA VI, which forced many publishers to reconsider their plans. As a result, Fable received a new window – early 2027.

In February, several high-profile projects will appear on the market, including new games in the Metro and Tomb Raider series. Project lead Ralph Fulton emphasizes that the team is confident in the quality of Fable and is ready to compete with big brands.

The developer noted that the return of the series is a large-scale project created to high industry standards, so the team is not going to hide from competitors.

At the same time, Fulton admits that there is one unprecedented "monster" that it's better not to mess with. That's why Fable abandoned the autumn release window – the developers wanted to give the game space and not leave it in the shadow of the giant.
