Crimson Desert "partially" fixed - developers corrected some errors after the release of the major update 2.00.00

News 1

This summer, Pearl Abyss studio released a major update 2.00.00 for Crimson Desert, which they called "Crimson Desert Enhanced update." After that, they warned that they decided to slow down the pace of updates. However, the authors still continue to release mini-patches designed to fix errors.

In early September, they released update 2.00.02, which includes a number of fixes. For example, the developers again reported that they "partially fixed" the problem with out-of-sync character lip movements (they were already working on this as part of the previous update 2.00.01). In addition, they fixed a bug that could be observed when colliding with NPCs while riding a mount.

List of changes in patch 2.00.02:

  • Fixed an issue where controls became unavailable when using a small crane in Kalin Quarry.
  • Fixed an issue where the character was forcibly dismounted when colliding with a wandering merchant while riding a horse.
  • Partially fixed the issue with out-of-sync character lip movements and voice acting in some cutscenes.

The developers did not specify when they plan to release the next patch or hotfix for Crimson Desert. A list of known issues is available at the following link, for example, Pearl Abyss studio is currently trying to fix similar errors:

  • An issue has been identified where it is impossible to interact with NPCs, mounts, and some objects in certain situations. Currently, players can temporarily resolve this issue by restarting the game.
  • A bug has been discovered where quests for the Serogrivy faction cannot be completed when playing as Damiana or Unku.
  • On GTX 1060 graphics cards, a "white screen" effect is observed when both "FSR Upscaling" and "Frame Generation" settings are activated simultaneously.
