This year, the creators of Escape from Tarkov participated in the ChinaJoy exhibition. During it, Battlestate Games boss Nikita Buyanov answered several community questions, and now the developers are gradually publishing these answers.
The recent issue touched upon the first season of EFT called "Kord Breach". Buyanov explained that modifiers cannot change during the season. Those who wish to change the modifiers chosen for the seasonal character will have to do a wipe.
One of the questions concerned the "exclusive content" of future seasons. Buyanov stated that the exclusive content will always be different, but he did not go into details.
In the future, Escape from Tarkov may add modifiers that will radically change the gameplay:
This may happen in some seasons – we are actively thinking about this now, they can be very different from each other thanks to these modifiers.
The developers of Escape from Tarkov plan to launch the second season, add the End of the Line map and the "Guide" boss in December 2026.
Overall, for the current year, the creators of "Tarkov" have plans for a series of updates, including updating the engine, introducing a prestige system for the PvE Zone, and refining artificial intelligence behavior.
