Razer has prepared another novelty for gamers. It has released the ultra-compact Prio controller, whose halves slide together, allowing it to be put in a pocket for easy transport.
This device, which supports screens up to 7 inches, weighs only 101 grams. There is no built-in battery in Prio, as it is a telescopic controller powered via USB-C.
The D-pad, front buttons, and triggers are stated to be tactile (mechanical) — for some, this may be a drawback, but others will like it. In addition, there is support for services such as Xbox Cloud Gaming, Steam Link, PS Remote Play, and Razer PC Remote Play.
All this works on iPhones with iOS 18 or newer, as well as on Android devices with version 14 or newer. The Prio will cost $99.99 (8686 rubles), so it definitely doesn't fall into the category of cheap controllers. The creators hope that thanks to its portability, performance, and possibly ease of use, this new product will justify its cost for some.

Judging by the trailer, the controller does not have a normal grip, so Prio is probably more suitable for short gaming sessions.
