The developers of Neo Berlin 2087 showed over 15 minutes of early gameplay, after which players compared the game to Deus Ex and the famous Cyberpunk 2077 E3 demo.
In the published segment, Detective Nolan investigates the mass murder of special forces members. Players will have to reconstruct the memories of the deceased and analyze neural data to uncover a conspiracy and find the police chief's missing daughter.
In addition to investigations, the developers showed gunfights, exploration of the dirty streets of the metropolis, and switching between first-person and third-person views.
The main character's voice attracted particular attention. Fans recognized actor Elias Toufexis, who played Adam Jensen in the latest Deus Ex installments. Cybernetic implants and corporate conspiracy led many to call Neo Berlin 2087 a spiritual successor to the series.
However, the version in the video is in the pre-alpha stage, which means there are noticeable issues with optimization and animation fluidity.
