Space horror Black Walls will turn a labyrinth into a trap with no escape

The two-person Australian studio Magic Van Games has announced the psychological horror game Black Walls, in which the player, as astronaut Joshua, will find himself trapped in a surreal world behind black walls.

Magic Van Games has unveiled a trailer for the psychological horror game Black Walls, featuring surreal, frighteningly empty spaces. The player will take on the role of astronaut Joshua, trapped in a mysterious world.

According to the plot, an accident outside the space station sends Joshua drifting into deep space. When all hope of rescue is lost, he notices the impossible beyond the far side of the Moon – black walls that can be entered but not exited.

The game has two modes. Chill Mode offers a peaceful journey without threats, while Horror Mode adds a pursuer who can appear anywhere in the labyrinth. The player's decisions are symbolic, and their consequences affect the ending.

The developers from the two-person Australian studio compare the game to a combination of Dark Souls labyrinths and an unpredictable pursuer in the spirit of Mr. X from Resident Evil. To survive, players will have to carefully observe light, reflections, and architecture.
