The Blood of Dawnwalker is sold in Russia and has a Russian description on its Steam store page, however, the game never received an official Russian localization (earlier rumors suggested it might appear by release).
Judging by the response of one of the project's authors, a Russian translation of The Blood of Dawnwalker from the developers/publisher is not expected anytime soon. However, there are various enthusiasts who have already started working on the localization.
There are already two Russian localizations for The Blood of Dawnwalker available online.
The first localization is from a user under the nickname (clarkkent), and the second was prepared by (wolvovic).
Obviously, this is not yet a fully "human" localization: modern AI technologies were used for the translation. The authors of the localizations noted that players will have the option to select the Russian language in the settings.
clarkkent advised: "Launch the game with an English keyboard layout for the entire interface to display correctly."
Overall, The Blood of Dawnwalker was well-received by players. The new game from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt game director has "mostly positive" reviews on Steam, with a 75% rating after a couple of thousand user reviews; and the peak online players on release day exceeded 44 thousand.
