AyakaMods showed a SteamDB analogue amidst the sale of Nexus Mods - the creators were criticized for AI-generated sloppiness

It recently became known that the creator of SteamDB decided to sell his service to Nexus Mods. Players who have been tracking prices, online status, and new releases on SteamDB for many years became seriously concerned, as Nexus Mods owners are known for locking some features behind a premium subscription.

AyakaMods reacted to this deal and presented an alternative solution:

Nexus Mods bought SteamDB. We decided to make our own SteamDB alternative: an independent Steam database, currently under development.

The project was named AyakaDB, and some criticisms arose even at the stage of its first presentation.

The developers published the following image on social media to demonstrate the AyakaDB interface. After this, they immediately began to receive accusations of using AI: "Well, guys, this is blatant AI-generated sloppiness."

AyakaDB is expected to offer similar features, such as tracking patches and price dynamics in different regional currencies, etc. Some players also called for a "release calendar" to be implemented – judging by the comments, the developers have taken this wish into account.
