Rumors and leaks about the new LEGO constructor turned out to be true. Today, the "PlayStation" set, consisting of 1911 pieces and paying homage to the console that changed the perception of the gaming industry, was officially announced.

For the first time, fans will be able to assemble a detailed, almost 1:1 scale replica of the iconic PS1 console. Its dimensions are over 6 cm high, 26 cm wide, and 19 cm deep. Every detail – from connecting the brick-built controller to the console to pressing the tactile, functional Open and Power buttons – is designed to convey the atmosphere of 90s gaming on the original PlayStation.
Opening the console, the user will discover hidden buildable dioramas inspired by two games. Builders can assemble a mini-track from Gran Turismo with tiny racing cars at the start and a scene from Ape Escape with a red or blue monkey helmet.
These dioramas can be hidden inside the console or taken out to display next to the gaming area. The LEGO PlayStation will be available for early access to LEGO Insiders members starting October 1, 2026, and for everyone else starting October 4, 2026.
The set will be available for $179.99 (15,596 rubles). LEGO Group employees recommend using the LEGO Builder app to make the assembly process more convenient. With it, you can zoom, rotate, and build models using 3D instructions, track progress, and save your sets.
