This summer, Rockstar Games held an official gameplay presentation for Grand Theft Auto VI. It showcased the console version of the game – nothing was said about the PC version yet.
Some players expect GTA VI to appear on PC a year or two after the console launch. However, it is possible that the gap between the console and PC release will not be very large this time.
Experienced gaming journalist Andy Robinson stated in the September issue of the VGC podcast that there are "some talks" in the industry that Grand Theft Auto VI could be released on PC earlier than many might expect. There is no more specific information about the dates or release window for the PC version of GTA VI at the moment.
The official Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for November 19 this year on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. Take-Two and Rockstar Games have not yet announced anything regarding the PC version.
Earlier, a Rockstar veteran explained that console versions are easier to make: there is no need to consider many possible hardware configurations, as is the case with PC, but rather to adapt the game to a few pre-known ones.
