Recently, Firaxis Games studio and publisher 2K announced the start of a new promotional campaign. PC players on Steam got the opportunity to get acquainted with Sid Meier's Civilization VII as part of a "free play week".
The authors invite you to explore the global 4X strategy. Since its release, not only several sets of premium add-ons have been introduced for it, but also free improvements. For example, a highly demanded mode was introduced with the ability to play only as one nation (previously, when moving between eras, it had to be changed necessarily).
The Sid Meier's Civilization VII page on Steam is available at the following link. The free access promotion will last until September 10, 20:00 Moscow time. A sale of various editions of the game and additional content is also being held.

The Heian period begins with the founding of Heian-kyō (modern Kyoto) in 794 AD and marks the last era of classical Japanese history. It was a time of refinement at court, when courtiers and especially court ladies elevated literature to the rank of high art. It was also a time of desolation and decline in rural areas, as unrest grew in the villages and tensions rose between influential clans. These tensions erupted into rebellion in the early 12th century and led to the emergence of shogunates, which subsequently shaped the course of Japanese history for many centuries.
