Nintendo follows Sony's lead. Major shows are coming

Nintendo will hold two major shows in a row: on September 8, 2026, a Direct for the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda will take place, and on September 9, a presentation of new Switch products.

Nintendo has dispelled rumors about its upcoming broadcasts. On September 8, at 5:00 PM Moscow time, a 30-minute Direct dedicated to the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda series will begin.

A day later, on September 9, also at 5:00 PM, a general Nintendo Direct with news and announcements will take place. The presentation will last 45 minutes. Immediately after it, Nintendo Treehouse will begin. During the broadcast, developers will show gameplay of some of the presented projects.
