After several games in the Marvel's Spider-Man series, Insomniac Games took on a project about another famous comic book character. Marvel's Wolverine is currently preparing for launch, and some players have already "crossed out" various unconfirmed rumors and insider information about another project featuring Venom's adventures.
Earlier reports suggested that a hypothetical "Marvel's Venom" could be released as an add-on for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 or as a standalone project in the vein of Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
And recently, Marvel's Venom was remembered again. One player directly asked the well-known insider NateTheHate if he had heard anything about such a project – he replied: "As far as I know, the Venom game is still in development."
However, NateTheHate explains, he himself does not yet know when Insomniac Games might officially announce the development of Marvel's Venom and fully present the project. At the moment, the Venom game (if it even exists) has no release date or release window, and the target platforms are also unknown.
Marvel's Wolverine is expected to be released on September 15 of this year on PlayStation 5 consoles.
