Bungie is facing serious problems: the Destiny series is no longer performing as it once did, and Marathon failed to attract a large number of players. This has led to massive layoffs. After being acquired by Sony, the company employed about 1,600 people; now, reportedly, only about 500 remain.
Now Bungie has put its nearly 20,000-square-foot complex in Bellevue up for sublease. The studio confirmed the information and stated:

Bungie's future remains uncertain. Sony bought the studio for $3.6 billion, and many fans consider this decision questionable. At the time of the deal, Bungie was reportedly working on six games, and according to a recent report, most of them have been canceled.
