Dino Crisis fans are once again dreaming of a new game - Capcom plans to revive old franchises after Onimusha's success

After many years, some continue to believe and await an announcement.

In early September, Onimusha: Way of the Sword was released on PC and consoles. Capcom successfully brought the franchise back by releasing a full-fledged new game.

Against this backdrop, players noted Capcom's statement that it plans to more actively return to its old franchises. The published press release states that "In addition to regularly releasing major new games each year, Capcom is placing particular emphasis on reviving intellectual property [franchises] that have not seen new releases recently."

It is also noted that the company "aims to further increase corporate value by leveraging its extensive content catalog."

Fans of Dino Crisis look at such statements with hope — they have long been urging Capcom to release remakes in the spirit of Resident Evil or full-fledged new installments.
