Fans have almost finished building the GTA VI map - they've been working on it for several years

The massive project is gradually moving towards completion.

Rockstar Games is in no hurry to reveal all the details of Grand Theft Auto VI, and is demonstrating the game gradually. Some fans of the franchise have been creating (as much as possible) a detailed map of the state of Leonida for several years. To do this, they used available materials: trailers and other promotional materials.

At the recent presentation, the developers of Grand Theft Auto VI showed many gameplay moments, but players were still only able to see snippets of locations and there is no overall picture yet. This is the moment the authors of the project dedicated to creating the GTA VI world map are trying to fix.

A user under the nickname Synth Potato recently said that the authors of this GTA VI world map have almost completed their work. He noted that compared to Grand Theft Auto V, the new game's map will be more densely populated outside the main city:

The design, frankly, is brilliant: the map is much wider than in GTA V, and there is much more road variety here. There is no one large "ring" road covering the entire map by the shortest route — you will very often HAVE to route through the center. Outside Vice City there are also many small towns, so the map is much denser than in GTA 5, where there was nothing at all between Los Santos and Blaine County.

Synth Potato also noted a point that seemed strange to him — the size of the airport: "it's almost half the size of the city itself, so I hope it doesn't look too abrupt in the game."

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19 this year on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. Rockstar Games and Take-Two have not officially announced anything about the PC version's release window, but rumors suggest that the gap between console and PC releases may be smaller this time.
